The Dedication was held at 9am this morning for the new Fire Station on South Beach. The fire station is located between Harbor Isle and Goodfellas.
The fire station is 6,244 square feet and has two drive-through bays and will house a quint ladder engine - a ladder truck without the platform basket at the top.
This station replaces the old one built in 1967, and will respond to water related incidents and emergencies on South Hutchinson Island.
